Spectral is looking for Business Development and Customer Success Specialist!

At the moment, we see more and more interest in the market for our products & services. To optimally serve our current customers and address that growing interest, we are looking to strengthen our commercial team.

We are looking for a communicative and open-minded person, interested in global business, technology, and innovation.
You will bring a high-tech monitoring solution, to operators of mines, recycling factories users and manufacturers all over the world. This requires multiple steps: from putting the solution on the radar of these potential customers, to clearly explaining how the solution works and convincing that the technology adds value within the operations of these organizations.

Result areas/responsibilities:
– Attract new clients through various marketing- and business development activities like:
* Attending relevant conferences and industry events.
* Executing sales campaigns.
– Prepare and present sales proposals, quotations.
– Review sales-related documentation (contracts, purchase conditions, etc.).
– Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and maximize sales potential.
– Stay up to date with industry trends and competitors to identify market opportunities.
– Track and analyse sales performance metrics and maintain an accurate and ongoing sales pipeline.
– Collaborate with customers to ensure seamless integration and maximum value of our products & services by helping them optimize procedures and workflows.
– Be our outpost for collecting customer feedback and advocate their needs within Spectral to help in the definition of our R&D to further enhance our products & services.

Personal skills/competences requirements
– Fluent in English (verbally and in writing).
– Professional proficiency in another language (preferably Spanish or Dutch).
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain client relationships.
– Strong organizational skills to be able to independently execute and keep track of sales-campaigns and manage customer success.
– Enthusiastic to work closely with customers to co-create better solutions.
– Able to explain and present complex technology in a simple way to end-users.
– Ambition to work in a scale-up environment requiring flexibility and responsibility.
– Affinity with content creation (presentations, social-media posts, etc.).
– Passionate about high-tech (e.g. sensors, metallurgy, AI/machine learning).
– EU passport or existing work permit for the EU.

Education and work experience requirements
– Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, economics, or a related field.
Alternatively, a relevant technical background with experience in marketing and sales.
– >3 years of relevant professional experience.
– Experience with sales and/or customer success.
– Track record of achieving sales targets.
– Existing (business) network within the mining and/or recycling sector is an asset.
– Experience in contract reviews/legal experience is an asset.
