We successfully installed our conveyor belt analyzer for a demonstration project at Cémin Catemu in Chile! This exciting technology creates the ability to monitor the composition of copper ore in real-time, opening up many opportunities to greatly reduce energy consumption and consumables.
This system has measured Cu and Fe directly on the conveyor belt that feeds the heap leaching operation of the copper plant. A classification of the grade of their ore enables them to redirect and plan the leaching process more efficiently.
