Exciting progress at Stena Recycling in Hallstahammar!
SPECTRAL Industries recently installed a LIBS sensor at Stena Recycling as part of the PURESCRAP project and completed a full week of calibration measurements. The unit is currently operating in a research environment and is planned to transition to the production line next year.
Once in production, the LIBS sensor will enhance the classification of scrap material, boosting efficiency in the recycling process.
