SPECTRAL Industries is a fast-growing high-tech company that develops unique optical sensor systems for non-contact chemical analysis. We apply our robust and sensitive sensors for demanding industrial applications ranging from mining to recycling and material processing. SPECTRAL is now active on 4 continents and realizes new products by combining academic and practical knowledge and cooperating with high-tech parties around the globe. We focus on realizing unique solutions, where the combination of robustness, mobility and accuracy is of paramount importance.

Your profile

You will work on multiple projects for customers from around the world and in (European) R&D projects. Most of our products are in the development phase moving towards field tests. The work will be performed in our offices and labs in Delft (The Netherlands), but also on-site at customers abroad, so willingness for international traveling is required.

We are looking for several BSc / MSc / PhD level candidates with at least one of the following backgrounds:

• Sensor Applications Specialist: experience with optical sensor technology for industrial applications is required. Preferred: 1) Knowledge of spectroscopy/LIBS, 2) Knowledge of sensors for mining and recycling equipment applications.
• Senior Sensor Data Processing Specialist: strong experience with data processing / calibration / machine learning and Python is required. Preferred: Knowledge of the processing and analyzing spectra.
• Manufacturing, Assembly & Test Engineer: experience with opto-mechanical equipment for industrial applications is required. Preferred: 1) Sensor design and Systems engineering knowledge. 2) Experience in mining and/or recycling equipment sector.
